Bewitched Sculpture – Samantha Statue

237-245 Essex Street Salem, MA

Now a landmark of the city of Salem, this six-foot-tall statue of Elizabeth Montgomery pays tribute to the well-known 1960s TV sitcom ‘Bewitched.’ The series filmed several episodes in Salem for its seventh season in 1970 after a fire shut down its Hollywood set. In 2005, the nostalgia cable channel TV Land gifted this bronze beauty to Salem in honor of the show’s 40th anniversary, and it has quickly become a staple in our magical city. Take selfies with it casting spells, twitching your nose, and having a good time in Salem.

Visit the Samantha statue in Lappin Park, located right in downtown Salem at the intersection of Washington and Essex Street. Nearby, you’ll find many of Salem’s most popular shops and restaurants, including Flying Saucer Pizza and Gulu-Gulu Cafe on the edge of Lappin Park.
