Salem Rewards on the Destination Salem App

Welcome to Salem Rewards!  It’s easy to play:

1. Download the Destination Salem App (if you already have the app, please make sure you have the February 1 update).
2. Click on SALEM REWARDS in the menu
3. Visit participating businesses and use the in-app scanner to scan the QR code on their rewards flyer to earn points
4. Earn enough points and you’ll win Salem prizes!

Businesses may post their app code in different places, so don’t be afraid to ask where it is.

There will be two challenges during Salem’s So Sweet:

The Ice Sculpture Challenge will give you 40 chances to earn points – one chance at each of the 37 ice sculptures and the three warming stations!  Each scan is worth 5 point, and if you earn 100 or more points (20 scans!), you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift card to a Salem business. The person who earns the most points will win a Salem staycation prize sponsored by the Hampton Inn Salem/Boston (if multiple people qualify for the grand prize, a drawing will be done for one winner).

The Chocolate Hearts Challenge has 33 chances to earn points! A scan at each participating business will earn you 10 points. When you earn 200 or more points, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift card to Salem businesses. The person who earns the most points will win a Salem staycation prize sponsored by the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites (if multiple people qualify for the grand prize, a drawing will be done for one winner).
