2 Brown Street Salem, MA
Located across from Salem Common and in front of the Salem Witch Museum, the Roger Conant Statue honors the founder of Salem and one of the key figures in the city’s earliest history. Dedicated in 1913, the bronze statue commemorates Roger Conant, who helped establish the settlement that would later become Salem after arriving in the area in the 1620s.
Today, the statue serves as a popular photo stop while exploring nearby attractions and downtown shops and restaurants.
